Frequently Asked Questions
What is Drive In Pallet Racking?
Drive In Pallet Racking is a high-density warehouse storage system designed to maximize space. It allows forklifts to enter the racking lanes directly to place and retrieve pallets, operating on a Last-In, First-Out (LIFO) inventory sequence.
How much storage capacity can Drive In Racking increase?
Drive In Racking can increase storage density by up to 75% compared to conventional selective pallet rack configurations by eliminating multiple forklift access aisles.
What is the weight capacity per pallet?
This system offers high loading performance, generally supporting a load capacity ranging between 1000KG to 2000KG per pallet position.
How deep and high can the system be configured?
The setup can be customized to store cargo up to 20 pallets deep and reach heights of 4 to 7 pallets, depending on your warehouse space and lift requirements.
Does this racking system require specialized forklifts?
Standard handling equipment and conventional forklifts can be used to operate in the system, helping to keep initial capital investment low.
How does this design protect goods from crushing?
The heavy-duty design of the rails supports each pallet independently in its own lane space, eliminating stacking pressure and preventing damage to crush-sensitive products.
